    Title IX protections, ensuring girls compete against biological girls in school sports and boys are not permitted in girls’ private spaces including bathrooms and locker rooms.

    Oppose one-size-fits-all medical mandates and support the right of families to make informed health decisions for their children.

Meet Maureen

Maureen “Quinn” Flaherty was born and raised in Long Beach. She is married and has a 19-year-old son who is attending college. She holds two educational credentials, plus Master of Arts in education and counseling that allows her to teach and counsel students from kindergarten to 12th grade. Currently Maureen is working as a special education teacher for students with mild to moderate learning disabilities.


During Covid, Maureen formed a grassroots group called Long Beach Freedom USA. She held meetings weekly to educate people on their constitutional rights. She formed the Long Beach Chapter of Eagle Forum.  Maureen continues to educate people through her monthly events. She is a volunteer and works with Children’s Defense and Moms for Liberty.


When elected, Maureen will be a champion for parental rights, money spent wisely and child safety. Having been an educator in the capacity of teacher or counselor, she knows firsthand the issues and will be a perfect advocate to find and implement the solutions.


Maureen is a devoted wife and mother who loves her community and wants to make a difference.
